ENGL 3362 Poetry: Forms and ThemesSemester Credit Hours: (3) sch
The course will focus on the close reading and explication of lyric poetry, with some attention to the epic. Students will be introduced to the skills, vocabulary and methods involved in reading poems, with emphasis on a fairly small number of poems closely studied. Frequent writing assignments.
