Analyzes the interrelationship of race, class and gender and how these structures have shaped the experience of all people in the United States. The “matrix of domination” approach is used to analyze the multiple, interlocking levels of domination. Emphasis is placed on social movements and change. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1301 .
