A series of discussions and written comments on current, social and bioethical issues such as: Ethics of Medicine, Artificial means of Reproduction, Morality of Abortion, Active Euthanasia, Human Gene Therapy, etc. Environmental issues are extremely complex and they usually relate to philosophical, economical and religious viewpoints. This course tries to encourage you to focus on social and environmental problems in a global context. Prerequisite(s): One year of natural science with laboratory.
