EDUC 4325 Reading in the Middle Grades

Semester Credit Hours: (3) sch

This course addresses basic methods, trends, recent materials, and issues in reading and literacy for the middle grades. The emphasis is on strategic reading and the reading comprehension process, with an introduction to process writing across the curriculum. A field experience is included. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 3322  or EDUC 4323 ; Admission to Teacher Certification Program. Fall, Spring
